SUNSHINE COAST, QUEENSLAND — 30 January 2026 — Hartzell Engine Technologies LLC has approved Suncoast Aero Engines, part of Sigma Aerospace Group, as a Recommended Service Facility (RSF) for AeroForce aircraft turbocharger systems and components.
The appointment gives Australian aircraft owners, operators and maintenance organisations a local point of contact for factory-approved turbocharger repair, overhaul and warranty work through Suncoast’s Queensland operation.
“When a turbocharger needs attention, operators need clear answers and a practical way forward. This approval brings Hartzell’s factory requirements, genuine parts and technical backing together with a local team they can pick up the phone and speak to. That’s the sort of support we want to make easier to access across Australia.”

What the Hartzell RSF appointment means
A Recommended Service Facility is an independent service provider that meets Hartzell Engine Technologies’ requirements for the relevant product line. For AeroForce, the program brings together factory procedures, trained technicians, approved tooling and genuine replacement parts, supported by ongoing oversight and periodic audits.
The approval covers AeroForce turbocharger systems and components. It also authorises warranty repairs on Hartzell turbocharger products under the manufacturer’s warranty process. Operators can discuss the unit, maintenance history and work required with the Suncoast team before arranging a repair or overhaul.
AeroForce explains the RSF program and its service standards on its website.

Local capability for operators across Australia
Suncoast Aero Engines supports general aviation and commercial operators with aircraft engine, component and propeller overhaul and repair. The AeroForce appointment adds manufacturer-backed turbocharger support to that broader capability.
Operators do not need to be based on the Sunshine Coast to use the service. The team can review the job requirements and records before a unit is sent, discuss freight arrangements and keep the operator informed about inspection findings, parts and timing. For an aircraft-on-ground requirement, call and flag the urgency so the team can review the available options.
Through Sigma’s wider MRO business, operators can also access piston engine overhaul, aircraft component repair and overhaul, propeller services and aviation parts support.
Need AeroForce turbocharger support?
Send the aircraft and engine type, component part and serial numbers, the fault or work required, and your preferred timing. Bailey and the Suncoast team can help you plan the next step.
